A CLOUDY blue skied day in Ferrieras a mere 26º 12th October 2008, Gnomous weather.
Last of the summer visitors, crept up on the archway enjoying the lovely Jasmine scent.
Just an update on the Little Gnomes Garden, everything is healthy and growing fine, the Pansies are still flowering since last march.
Good Gnome day to all, any one who had seen my request for HELP on the 3/06/2008 with the problem of growing Cala Lilies from seed pods. Well just look at the PHOTO, what a success, over 55 seedlings and they are still shooting up, WOWEE!!!!! The only information I could find, said several years before producing from seeds!! Just popped into seed compost and wayee they have produced. Now looks as if I will have a Cala Lily Forest at the bottom of the garden. Watch this space for progress, THANK YOU FOR YOUR INPUT, the Little Gnome.

Mrs Gnome´s been busy, making Birthday cakes for THREE. Dad 80, Mum 75 & Daughter 50, total cake age 205. No 2 is Vanilla, no O is Chocolate & no 5 is Lemon, all covered with delicious Butter cream Icing. Accompanied by Strawberry and Vanilla Fairy cakes topped with Hundreds & Thousands, HAPPY BIRTHDAY xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Yes another new friend in the little Gnomes garden, Jiminy Cricket, makes quite a lot of noise at night on the terrace, but during the day loves to bask in the sun. Just look at the length of his legs, measures just under three & a quarter inches. Also loves to lay in the folds of the large umbrella when the sun gets too hot !!! As you can see he´s not camera shy at all, in fact he may even be a bit of a poser. Of course he´s also part of the Green environment. It may well be he sits here watching the birds having a shower & preening themselves!
Little Gnomes Oranges are coming along nicely, morning Dew running around the bottoms. The hideaway entrance engulfed in colour.
Good Morning, just had to let you see how the bottom of the garden is blooming. Gazania, oh what a beautiful face.The Rose a present from one of the littlest Gnomes. then the Plumbago opening up in all its glory, another present from one of the littlest Gnomes, Blue and True with backing from the Blackeyed Susan and the Pink Mandavelha, oh what a little haven for the little Gnome.

Early morning start for the front of the street Guard dog. Just a quick peep over the top to check me out, before the full visual.
Hooray!!!!! At last the rest of the wood has arrived from Sweden. Little Gnome has finished building the fence. Gate fitted as well, now the climbers can wind their way along the fence at their leisure. Two new walls built ,backed up with earth, now the plants can rest in their final positions.
The Dragonfly is back, landing for a rest on the West side of Gnome Heliport. Gnome air traffic control zoomed him in through the circling Butterflies, Hovering gracefully before landing on a prime spot for him to flaunt his wonderful fuselage, animated face & wonderful gold netted wing detail, not forgetting his unique landing gear!!!
At last the tiles have arrived to finish the path to the pool. All done & dusted now complete with a low hedge of White Iris´s, can wait for them to flower. So lovely to have a nice tiled path to walk to & fro from pool.
