My how the garden grows!

Just an update on the Little Gnomes Garden, everything is healthy and growing fine, the Pansies are still flowering since last march.

Re: The Little Gnome needs HELP!

Good Gnome day to all, any one who had seen my request for HELP on the 3/06/2008 with the problem of growing Cala Lilies from seed pods. Well just look at the PHOTO, what a success, over 55 seedlings and they are still shooting up, WOWEE!!!!! The only information I could find, said several years before producing from seeds!! Just popped into seed compost and wayee they have produced. Now looks as if I will have a Cala Lily Forest at the bottom of the garden. Watch this space for progress, THANK YOU FOR YOUR INPUT, the Little Gnome.

How about that for a September Sky ! Blue Blue Sky with White White Clouds on a sunny 28º Friday 26th afternoon. Great for lazing at the Bottom of the Garden.

Birthday Cake for 3

Mrs Gnome´s been busy, making Birthday cakes for THREE. Dad 80, Mum 75 & Daughter 50, total cake age 205. No 2 is Vanilla, no O is Chocolate & no 5 is Lemon, all covered with delicious Butter cream Icing. Accompanied by Strawberry and Vanilla Fairy cakes topped with Hundreds & Thousands, HAPPY BIRTHDAY xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

New friend

Yes another new friend in the little Gnomes garden, Jiminy Cricket, makes quite a lot of noise at night on the terrace, but during the day loves to bask in the sun. Just look at the length of his legs, measures just under three & a quarter inches. Also loves to lay in the folds of the large umbrella when the sun gets too hot !!! As you can see he´s not camera shy at all, in fact he may even be a bit of a poser. Of course he´s also part of the Green environment. It may well be he sits here watching the birds having a shower & preening themselves!

THe Fruits of life

Little Gnomes Oranges are coming along nicely, morning Dew running around the bottoms. The hideaway entrance engulfed in colour.
